The anticipation is rising, because soon the time will come:
Walking barefoot and completely relaxed along the largely deserted beach and settling down in a nice spot....
Let your gaze wander into the distance...
Listen to the sound of the ocean...
Feel the wind, sand and sun on your skin...
Find refreshment in the sea...
Enjoy the sunset...
Starting the day with a good breakfast...
During the day, occasionally dig out some fruit and a water bottle from your backpack...
Look forward to a varied buffet in the evening...
Perhaps end the day with a glass of wine...
Visit other parts of Fuerteventura (preferably beaches) with a rental car...
Get a new perspective of the island on a catamaran trip...
Take the ferry to Lanzarote...
Watch the surfers and paragliders at their lively activities and imagine what it would be like to try it yourself.
But above all, to do everything without pressure and without haste.
That's more or less my idea of this year's summer holiday in Fuerteventura. I love this Canary Island. My photos in the ad were all taken there - five months ago.
No one from my own circle can be found to come along. "Too warm", "too windy", "too bare", "too little culture".... Maybe there is someone here who - like me - appreciates the
appreciates the beauty and advantages of the island or is curious to discover it. Maybe you will be there in the above-mentioned period anyway. Or you may be inspired by my ad... (But then you shouldn't think too long, because I think the prices now only know one direction...)
I am 50+, feel young at heart and in my head, love to laugh, am very enthusiastic and certainly not a clingy person. It would be very nice to go out together on one or two occasions and have good conversations "about God and the world" (but you don't have to feel uncomfortable if you just let impressions sink in).
I like it rather quiet and have therefore deliberately chosen a hotel on the west coast, which is less developed for tourism. If you were to stay in the same hotel, there would at least be some nice entertainment at mealtimes - unless you are a total early riser... Ultimately, however, it is not decisive where you have your accommodation on the island. I am mobile and could be in the busier resorts of Costa Calma, Jandia Playa or Morro Jable in just a few minutes.
If you feel addressed by my lines and don't smoke (age, sex and hometown are rather irrelevant for me), then I look forward to hearing from you. You are welcome to send me your own ideas. And of course preferably with a photo. I guarantee to reply quickly.
